Earning Money Online With Adsense

There is nothing better than free cash. Earning money online however, is generally not free cash you have to do something. But there is a way you can get Google to pay for doing virtually nothing. The system is called Adsense. Basically what happens is that Google will place little ads on your blog or website that are relevant to the content of your webpage. Whenever someone clicks on those ads, you get paid! This is one of the best ways to earn money online. With Adsense its all about keywords. This article will reveal some of the highest paying keywords and how to research high paying keywords.

Adsense has led to an obsession over finding the highest paying keywords. Some companies will charge you over $200 to tell you what the highest paying keywords are. You do not need to shell out that kind of cash to anyone just to find the right keywords just so you can earn money online with Adsense. The important thing to remember is that the more profitable the industry the higher they will bid for
keywords. The higher the bid the more you get paid if those ads end up on your website or blog.

Some simple research on Google will give you insight on some of the highest paying words but if you're in a rush here seven of the highest paying keywords that will payout big-time if you decide to earn money online with Adsense. 1) Annuity cash settlements 2) Cash settlements 3) Antidepressants that cause weight loss 4) DWI Attorney 5) DUI Attorney 6) Meaningful beauty 7) Bad Credit Mortgage.

Researching keywords. This may seem daunting but it is very beneficial if you use the Google keyword.

This website was designed to help advertisers choose keywords to bid on but as a publisher you can use this tool to find out the best keywords to not only build your site around but to use in content.

1.When you visit the above website you will notice two tabs the Keyword Variations tab and the site-related keywords tab. Choose the Keyword variations tab.

2.Type in a keyword or keyword phrase. Make sure you uncheck the synonyms box. This will insure that you do a vertical brainstorm. The keyword that triggers any rainstorm is called a brainstorm seed word because it seeds a storm of keywords. In other words you will get a list of keywords and keyword phrases that contain our chosen keyword. By checking the box you get a lateral brainstorm. This gives keywords that are related to the seed word but do not contain the seed word. Make sure you uncheck the synonyms box.

3.Where it says choose data to display: choose cost and ad position estimates. Choose a number that you would never bid on such as $100 and then click recalculate. This will give you a list of keywords along with the cost per click that advertisers are paying for the number one spot for those keywords. The number one spot for cash settlement for example costs about fifty dollars. You now know that cash settlement is a high paying keyword.

By knowing what keywords are getting the highest bid you can estimate what keywords to integrate into content for your website or blog. Earning money online with Adsense is one of the best ways to create an online income. And now you know what keywords bring in the most cash per click and how to search for more high paying keywords for your adsense site.

5 Tips to Improve Your Adsense Targeting

As an Adsense publisher, I am often annoyed to find my web pages filled with public service announcements (PSA) and ads unrelated to the content of my site. Fewer relevant ads mean fewer click-throughs and ultimately lower Adsense revenues. However advanced Google's contextual ad serving algorithm may be, it is still a computer program (as opposed to a human being) trying to figure out what a web page is about.

Below are some tips to help you optimize your pages to make them more Adsense-friendly. Note that these tips deal with ad delivery rather than ad formatting or placement. While ad formatting and placement may affect ad click-through rates, they have nothing to do with the delivery of relevant ads to your site. Your site must display relevant ads before they have any chance of being clicked on.

1. Avoid too much content on a page

If Adsense does not understand what is your page is about, it cannot deliver ads targeted to its content. Although a human being can easily tell what a web page is about by taking a glance at it, computer algorithms are no so intelligent. If your page contains too much content, chances are that it also contains too many seemingly unrelated keywords. Adsense becomes confused and displays PSAs or ads unrelated to the topic of your page. Try dividing the page into smaller ones, each focusing on just a few related keywords.

2. Avoid too little content on a page

If your page contains lots of graphics and very little text, Adsense may have a hard time figuring out what it is about. This is especially true when the bulk of your content is derived from graphics and scripts. When possible, use text rather than graphics to display website names, page titles, and headline texts. Make certain to include your keywords in the title of your page and repeat them throughout the page. Avoid hiding your text through sneaky tactics, such as using tiny fonts or making your text the same color as the background. This may be construed by search engines as spam.

3. Repeat keywords that you are targeting

Keyword repetition makes it easier for Adsense to decipher what your page is about. Do this in moderation as excessive repetition may be considered spam by the search engines. Excessive repetition may also make your writing sound awkward to the human reader. Instead of repeating the same keyword more than 5 or 6 times on a page, use synonyms and related keywords. For example, instead of repeating "Adsense optimization" 20 times, you might try alternative phrases like "increase Adsense revenues" or "earn more from Adsense".

4. Avoid acronyms

I once wrote an article on pay-per-click advertising for one of my sites, and after I uploaded the article, I was perplexed to find ads for Apple computers on the article page. In fact, none of the ads had anything to do with pay-per-click advertising. Upon closer inspection, it occurred to me that I used the acronym PPC in place of pay-per-click numerous times in the article. As it turned out, "PPC" also stood for "PowerPC", Apple's line of Power Macintosh computers, which explained why I was getting all the Apple related ads. When I replaced all the "PPC" with "pay-per-click" and "pay per click", the problem went away.

5. Choose keywords with commercial value

You may get public service announcements rather than paid ads if your page deals with a subject matter whose keywords no one bids on. A remedy for this is to incorporate keywords with commercial value into your manuscript. For instance, if your page is on some obscure medical condition, you might try sprinkling a few drug names into your document to make it display paid ads rather than PSAs.

There Is a World Outside of Google's AdSense

Google's AdSense program is by far the most popular of all the contextual ad programs out there, but it's certainly not the only one. There are many Pay Per Click Networks similar to AdSense that are available to website publishers who are looking to monetize their website traffic.

Why would you use anything other than AdSense if it's the most popular ? Well there are several reasons why you might want to try another network. Perhaps you had an AdSense account in the past and fell victim to one of their mysterious "invalid clicks" bannings, or you may want to diversify a bit. As my mother used to tell me, never put all your eggs in one basket.

Yahoo Publishers Network - http://www.publisher.yahoo.com - This is probably Google's biggest competitor. They offer contextual based text ads only. YPN is still in it's beta mode however and it's very difficult to get accepted into their program currently. At the time of this writing the YPN program is only open to residents of the US and they're still working on their ad targeting, it's not very accurate at times but this should be a very promising program once the work out the bugs.

Bidvertiser - http://www.bidvertiser.com - Another fairly well known name in the PPC game. Bidvertiser offers an easy sign up process, low payout threshold and quick ad setup. Their ads are not contextual in nature, but based on categories. If your website falls into the "shopping" category, you'll display ads related to shopping and the like. They offer category based text ads in various sizes.

Kirrhi PPC Network - http://www.kirrhi.com - A relative newcomer to the PPC field, but holds a promising future for a variety of reasons. Quick and easy registration, lucrative referral bonuses, nice selection of ad types, and a low payout threshold. Kirrhi offers contextual text ads in a variety of sizes, inline text ads, and personalized search portals.

Adbrite - http://www.adbrite.com - This one is a bit different in so much as advertisers can choose which publisher's site their ads are displayed on, and publishers can also refuse or accept those ads. This gives both advertiser and publisher greater control over the types of ads shown on their site. A very nice feature if you ask me. Sign up is fast and painless, ad types consiste of contextual text ads, inline text links, and interstitials. Low payout threshold also makes this an attractive choice.

Kontera - http://www.kontera.com - This program takes advantage of the inline text ads. Simple to integrate and it's a setup and forget about it kind of system. Very easy to use and register. Net 60 payout terms and $100.00 payout threshold may make this one a bit undesirable for some publishers.

Alternate URL - http://www.alternateurl.com - What started out as a means to fill up those PSA ads with AdSense has morphed into a very nice PPC Network in it's own right. Registration must be approved and takes about 48 hours, but it's well worth the wait. Alternate URL uses context based text ads only, but it's definitely a very nice program with great earning potential.

As you can see there are many alternatives to AdSense now, you're not restricted to just one PPC Network while trying to monetize your website's traffic. Our list is by no means a complete list, but it should be enough to get you started on the road to life outside AdSense.

Earning Money with Adsense: Getting Started

How can you add to your website's earning potential?

It all starts when you realize that you can earn income by properly displaying Adsense ads on your pages. While most people are already aware of what Adsense is, more and more people are beginning to fully understand that a good amount of money can be generated from this revenue source.

First, let's consider some basic principles. The Math. If you get anywhere from a few cents to a couple of dollar per click, then the more clicks the more money. That is Simple enough. Now the part many people forget. The more pages you have, the more pages people have access to click on, the more money. Try multiplying your per pages calculated amount by the number of pages you have to get a rough idea of the true potential of Adsense.

Google Adsense has become a relatively fast and easy method that website developers can use to offset costs, while providing ads that are relevant to their websites content. These ads are often of interest to the reader simply because they are based on what the reader is already searching for. This provides some income to them and a service to the users. This is one of the main reasons why you can both monetize and enhance your content pages with Adsense.

The potential income that can be generated is only limited to how much the advertisers are willing to pay, and how many clicks are generated. If the keywords the promoter has selected are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click. These keywords can be as little as a few cents, to as high as $20 or $30 per click.

How to turn your website into an Adsense Machine

1: Visit Google.com/Adsense and sign up for your free account. Takes about 2 minutes.

2: Once your website has been accepted, you can generate Adsense code. You have the options to create display areas that fit your website. You can pick the colors, size, shape and types of ads being displayed.

3: Add the code to your website pages. You can insert Adsense code into as few or many pages as you wish. You can even add more then one Adsense block per page (up to three), and they can be different shapes, content or colors. Pick the blocks that work for your website. Google also offers ideas as to where to place them for better affects. This can be quite helpful to increase your clicks, and your revenues.

4: Publish your website with your new code added. Once your pages are live, you can start earning revenues from your Adsense blocks.

*Important Note* Google frowns on Click fraud. This is where you click on your own ads in your website in an attempt to earn income. Simple enough, don't risk it.

5: Check your statistics by logging into your Adsense account. While you're at it, consider adding the Google Analytics functionality to your website as well. Let the Adsense keep track of your earning and use Analytics to track your website traffic. They both go hand in hand, the more traffic, the more Adsense clicks you have potential for.

One thing you might wish to do is to look at other sites that are running Adsense. You might try to pattern your Adsense blocks in a similar fashion to those sites that are earning successfully. Position, size, and colors are all factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.

It is a common issue that when a site begins earning money, the tendency is for the owner to try and "grind out" more money then they are already getting. Have some patience. It will usually take some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense contents.

How To Use Keyword Elite For Free Targeted Website Traffic

Keyword Elite is an extremely popular software created by Brad Callen which is used by internet marketers to get the most profitable website traffic. This article explains how to properly use Keyword Elite to increase the amount of targeted traffic to your websites.

When go to the Google home page and type in any keyword or phrase in the Google search box Google will then come up with a list of websites pertinent to the keyword you typed in. The websites on the left of the page are websites who have typically worked incredibly hard to optimize their sitee and get high quality, targeted back links for their website. These sites don't pay any money to be in that position, their hard work has been rewarded with top Google rankings.

If you glance to the right of the page you will usually see some ads appearing on the right in column format. There will also be some ads usually at the very top of the page. These ads are by Google Adwords advertisers. These advertisers are paying to be in that position to get their ads in front of people in the hope that their ads will be clicked on. One portion of website owners have got there for free. The other are paying for the service.

There is a software tool that can help you with both your search engine optimization for your website and your Google Adwords campaigns and I'm going to reveal how to use that tool for these purposes.

To use it for purely free search engine optimization follow these simple steps:

Select Project 1 which is "create a keyword list". Then in step 2 insert the main keyword that you believe you want to use to actively promote your website. Let's say your site was about bonsai gardening, that's the phrase that you would put into step 2. Next go to step 3 and choose Overture and move the slider in step 4 to just 100 keywords.

As we aren't after a massive keyword list but a smaller list of highly targeted and related keywords we choose Overture and a small number of keywords. Then once Keyword Elite has completed the task click on "report view" and "edit tab". This is the place to further analyze competitive keywords.
Our goal now is to find out how much traffic these specific keywords would generate to our websites if we either used these words on Google Adwords or had high search engine rankings for these particular keywords.

Alternatively you could try using free keyword tools.
Such tools are the Overture keyword tool, the Good Keywords tool and even the Adwords keyword tool.

Click on the first keyword in the generated list and just scroll down 15 or 20 words from the top. Select the top 20 keywords by holding SHIFT on your keyboard and clicking the 20th keyword. Simply right click and select "send keywords to project 2" from the menu. Many of the projects are, in fact, interactive with one another.

The software will automatically insert the keywords that you have selected into project 2.

Next simply select all of the search engines in step 3 as we want to get as much information as we possibly can about these 20 keywords. In step 4 of this project choose KEI, Google broad match and Top Bids. Then click okay.

After the software starts processing this task click on "report view". The area that's critical for us to analyze is "searches column" as this is the column that will give us a rough guide of how many visitors we would expect to get if we were ranking well in Overture for that term every month. To get an idea of the Google traffic you would get from a top Google ranking then multiply that Overture figure by 7.
This project is a fantastic way of analyzing whether to optimize your website for that keyword.

It's important to sort the "searches column" list in descending order so that the keyword that generates the most traffic is at the top.

I would advise that if your website is new (under a year old) you should not optimize your site for the top keyword. It's much easier when starting out to rank well for longer keyword tail phrases. So for this purpose I would suggest selecting 1-3 of the other keywords generated when you are first starting out.

Getting back to our project, click on the R/S ratio column as this will put the list in ascending order. You will then see keywords that have a low R/S ratio which means few people are advertising on these keywords, however, the good news is that there are a lot of monthly searches for this keyword. Therefore, it's a great niche to get started with as there is low competition but a lot of searches (buyers) looking for information on this topic.

You will also notice the Adwords CPC column and also clicks and position columns. This information tells us that if, for example, we had a number 1 position for bonsai gardening what we would expect to pay per click and how many clicks we would expect to receive every day.

This is a very powerful way of using Keyword Elite to see whether or not it is a good idea, and profitable, to bid on a certain keyword. This report will also tell you the number of other advertisers there are on Adwords. Typically, the best and most profitable keywords are usually the ones that have around 8-13 advertisers. This shows that people are making money on this keyword plus the fact that there isn't too much competition.

Of course at this point you could also use Project 5 and legally spy on your competitors to find keywords that they are advertising on for more than a week.

If there are under 3 advertisers for your keyword it probably means that people have tried advertising on that keyword and it hasn't proved profitable. So at this point take advantage of this software and let it help you avoid making the same mistakes that other advertisers have already may.

The Adsense Site Blue Print

A good money making Adsense site needs a number of elements in place before it will succeed.

In the article below I discuss technical assets and techniques you should be using. You should also consider the site design, but that's a whole other article.

I've broken down the basics below -

1: Regular Content Updates

Ideally you are adding fresh, unique, keyword targeted content to you site on a regular basis. Every few days at a minimum, daily if possible.

The search engines will come back to your site more often, rank it higher and in turn provide more traffic if you consistently add fresh unique content.

A naturally growing site gets the search engines interested and keeps them interested.

If you don't like to write or can't write then you can outsource this chore to a third party.

On the other hand you can also use freely available articles from the numerous article directories out there. This is not ideal because the content is not unique and will most likely be found on hundreds of other sites.

Another option is to use 'Private Label Rights' articles. These are articles that you buy and use as starting point for your own unique article. Essentially you re-write the PLR article. Don't be tempted to use these as is, otherwise you may as well use the article directories as your article source instead.

Which ever route you choose you should start with a good number of pages on which to build.

You need to place your Adsense directly into the body copy of each of your articles for the highest CTR (Click Through Rate).

2: Rotate Your Content

It's fine consistently adding new content but if your homepage stays the same you're seriously missing out.

You should endeavour to have content rotate on a daily basis on your homepage. This gives the impression of a site update. You can do this by hand or you can have a script on your site rotate content. I know which I would choose. :)

In fact I have a script that chooses a random article from the hundreds on my site and posts it automatically to my homepage for 24hrs before selecting a new article and doing the same again for the next 24hrs.

In essence to both visitors and the search engines my site is updated daily. :)

3: RSS Feeds

To further make you site appear to update regularly you should introduce a relevant RSS feed. I won't go into the details of exactly what RSS is here. If you're not sure do a Google. :)

Basically you will get fresh relevant links appearing on your site at regular intervals.

There are numerous site scripts available now to allow you to show RSS feeds on your site. When you choose one make sure it is either PHP, CGI or ASP. Don't use javascript!

The reason for this is that the above mentioned languages will display the RSS feeds as HTML which the search engines read as content.

Javascript will be ignored! It does not convert the feed to a search engine friendly format which the above languages will do.

If you are interested in a free RSS feed converter for your site email me at the site below.

4: Place Your Adsense Ads

You must place your Adsense ads within the body of your article. It's a proven fact that the area to the top right of the content receives the highest CTR.

Beyond the body copy the next two hotspots are across the top of the page and down the left hand side. The two areas that Net users naturally look to for a sites navigation.

5: Place Your Ad Links Ads

The Google Ad Links ads have been found to work best when placed either above or below the site navigation, again either across the top or down the left hand side.

A further boost can be had by 'blending' the look of the ads with your site navigation. By that I simply mean having your navigation match the ads in both font type, size and colour.

Many Adsense publishers have experienced a large boost in revenue after blending all there navigation to match their ads.

6: A Site Map

This is very important. Without a good site map to which you can add your newly uploaded content the search engines will never know you are updating your site. They'll never be able to find the new content without a link going to it.

Be sure not to forget to update your site map each time you add new site content.

There you have it. That's a general overview of a working Adsense site. Of course I haven't the space to go in to much detail but I hope you found what I have revealed of use. ;)

Make Money with Adsense The Basics

Adsense is probably one of the quickest and most powerful roots to website profits with the easy implementation of a simple snippet of code. If used properly it can generate a great passive income for any site. But that's the crux if you're not placing the right Adsense code in the right style and in the right position on your pages then you're actually loosing money.

Apart from the ease of implementation the results you can achieve are fast and they can also be surprising and exciting.

The first thing to do when considering Adsense is to research your keywords. Research your market if you're adding Adsense to an existing site or explore niche markets if this is a new site. Examine keywords and keyphrases from the market that get the most searches on the search engines. There are a number of sites and software tools that will allow you to do this some of them even giving you the click costs, essentially how much you will make per click on an ad.

Select say 10 keywords or keyphrases and then consider your site content or for best results create new content. Unique and keyword rich articles related to your site theme work well. Use your 10 keywords to choose an article theme and then create an article for each keyword. Aim to have around 3% keyword density for each article. Keyword density is the number of times your keyword appears in relation to the number of over all words in the article.

Be sure to make your article informative and grammatically correct. Badly written articles, focused on SEO only, will do you no favours and often turn visitors away and maybe pop up on the search engine radar, which could mean a slip in your site rankings. Think long term here. There is no reason that, once set up, your Adsense site wouldn't continue to bring in a passive growing income for years to come.

Once you have your articles build your site.

Now before you insert the ad code you should consider two things, the styling of the ads and the positioning. The styling is possibly the most important. A badly styled ad in the perfect position on your page will get a poorer click through rate than a well-styled ad in the same position.

The best click through rates, when it comes to styling, have been proven to come from removing the ad borders and setting the background colour to match your page background colour. Essentially blending the ads into the page and getting them to look like part of the page content. You should also have the colour of the links on your page match those of the ads.

Next consider the positioning of your ads. Place your ads where site visitors are most likely to click on them. Research shows that the top left of the page is the first spot to draw the eye and in turn get the most clicks. The new format 'Ad Links' work well here. The other hotspot is directly within the body of your content. The square formatted ads at the top right of your body copy work best here.

The correct styling and positioning of your ads is crucial for better click throughs and higher payouts.

You will get clicks on your ads almost no matter where you place them if you have enough site traffic. But styling and positioning them properly from the start can triple or more your click through rates.

Adsense has good tracking statistics that allow publishers to track their results across a number of sites on a site-by-site, page-by-page basis. You should make the most of this facility to learn which ads are performing the best and fine-tune them accordingly to improve your results.

Finally, you have the option to use image ads instead of text only. But, the average Net user is sophisticated enough now to ignore image based ads. They're now almost universally blocked subconciously by Net users as advertising. Stick to text ads only. Be sure this is set in your account you can do this in 'My Account'.

To really start making money with Adsense, you should have a definite focus on what you want to achieve and how you will go about achieving it. Set income goals day by day and work to increase your income by tweaking your pages and adding more keyword targeted content.

Consitently improving your site and introducing new content will see your Adsense profits grow.

The Adwords and Adsense Road to Big Profits

Do you use Adsense to monetize any of your websites?

Do you use Adwords to buy in visitors to any of your websites?

Have you considered combining the two and sending Adwords traffic to your site featuring Adsense Ads?
There are huge profits currently being made
by enterprising site owners who are buying low cost keywords and sending the traffic to high paying Adsense ads.

Sounds simple doesn't it? It is and believe me it works.

The problem is it can be a real balancing act if you go about this the wrong way. You can loose serious money or just scrape a marginal profit.

First of all you need to find a niche market, stay clear of the Internet Marketing arena there's just too much competition there. Instead look into day to day niche markets. But before you do this you need to consider your target keyword. For best results you need a high bid keyword, that is a keyword that Adwords advertisers are willing to pay a lot for per click.

You can find these for free over on the Overture bid tool. Most bids displayed there are likely to amount to much more on Adwords. For a more accurate bid pricing you can use one of the numerous paid for services that have sprung up across the Net this year. These services analyse thousands of keywords, there bid price, the number of advertisers bidding, the number of searches for that keyword and some of the better services will even report the ad clicks you can expect per day.

One of the better paid for services I came across you can find here www.cashkeywords.com (non affiliate link). They run a list which is constantly being updated and added to. So you will always have a regular fresh source of keywords to target. Currently they stand at around 133,000 keywords.

Next you need to set up a page focused on your chosen keyword. You could buy a domain name for this or simply add the page to one of your existing sites. Grab some free content focused on your chosen keyword in the form of an article from any of the major article directories(www.ezinearticle.com) and add it to your page.

You should also be sure to title the page with your chosen keyword. Adding a related graphic will also help. What you're trying to do here is instil a little confidence in the visitor and avoid having your page look like one of those spammy Adsense sites that crop up all over the place. Visitors will simply click away if you don't put a little effort into your page. You will still get some clicks but you can get so many more with a little effort.

Next place your Adsense ads in a number of spots on the page. You will need to test this to see which positions perform best. The prime spot according to Google is directly within the content of the page. Beyond that a good starting point would be across the top, the bottom and down the left side of your content. Essentially where the navigation appears traditionally.

Once you've got this set up start work on your Adwords campaign. Create your own list of targeted keywords, obviously I'd recommend PPC Accelerator for that. ;) Now here you don't need to worry about using high paying keywords in your own list because you will be setting your daily budget at just 5-10c. This will guarantee you don't appear on the first page for those high paying keywords. Instead you are focusing here on related keywords that you can pick up cheaply. Refer back to the issue on keyword list building for keyword avenues you can explore.

Before you run your campaign go into 'Edit settings' and uncheck all the boxes under 'Network' except Google search. This will ensure your ad appears only on Google itself, with the most proactive visitors. If this turns out to be a money making campaign you can go back into 'Edit settings' and switch those options back on.

Finally set your daily budget low and run your campaign.

As you are probably aware neither Adwords or Adsense report stats in real-time so you will have to sit back for an hour or so before any results come in. Be sure to monitor this campaign regularly to weigh up whether your income from Adsense is covering your outgoings on Adwords.

As with any campaign there are a number of factors to take into account when it comes to click through rate. Chief among these I've found to be the day and the time of day. Some campaigns work better during the week during office hours others bring better results at the weekend.

If you're making a small profit then it may be worth tweaking your set up. If your profit is on a tightrope or you're loosing money then it may be better to move on to a different keyword.

Once you have a winning campaign start again, find another high paying keyword etc. etc.

That's it, if you take action now you'll be in for a nice bonus come January. I'm sure that will help you to recover from the Xmas splurge. :)

Most Profitable Adsense Secret

How do you pinpoint the most profitable Adsense secret when there are so many numerous little secrets, some of which have made a big difference in the earnings of Adsense publishers? Interestingly enough some so-called little secrets haven't been so little and have been worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars to some webmasters and bloggers.

Actually the most profitable Adsense secret for any site depends on a number of factors. Probably the most important is at what level of development and Adsense earnings the site has reached. If you are a low traffic site just starting out with Adsense then there are a number of big secrets that will make quite an impact on your Adsense revenue and earnings. At this stage of development the most profitable Adsense secrets could typically mean a 200 or even 300 per cent increase in Adsense revenues, sometimes more.

On the other hand a site that is already making serious Adsense money is unlikely to implement any secret that will dramatically improve its' Adsense profitability. At this stage, what tends to happen is that the many small changes that happen with the implementation of every little idea tends to add up to a major impact when you sum it all up. So there is really no single most profitable Adsense secret that can be pointed out.

Adsense – How do I succeed?

So you have heard about the tons of money some people are making with Google Adsense. So you want in on the action. But the question is, how do I do it? What makes one person successful at utilizing Google Adsense and others fail miserably? How do I avoid wasting my time on it if I’m not going to be successful? Are there any guarantees?

These are some of the questions that may be nagging at you if you are considering getting started with Google Adsense. You may have already started, but are not seeing much return for your money and time. In this article we will discuss some of the answers to your questions and give you a hint as to how to successfully use Google Adsense.

First of all, is it true that people have made a lot of money with Google Adsense? Yes, it is true. There are some people who are and have made thousands of dollars per month with Google Adsense. There is even one website I know of that made millions when they sold their Google Adsense Website because it was making so much money per month a big company couldn’t resist the opportunity to buy their business.

A business, that’s what it is. That is the first thing you need to remember. Google Adsense is a business. It is not a hobby. It is not a sideline. Not if you want to be successful with the Google Adsense program. If you do not plan to treat it as a business, it is not worth any of your time. It is an all or nothing proposition.

There are exceptions. If you already run a successful website and have a lot of incoming traffic, Google Adsense can still work for you and you won’t need to put a lot of time into it. By a lot of incoming traffic, I mean if you are already getting thousands of unique hits every day.

If you plan to use Google Adsense as your primary source of income, then you have to work hard at it in order to be successful. You have to treat it as you would any business. That being said, I must warn you. Being your own boss, working for yourself, may not be for you. It is a decision only you can make.

To be your own boss you have to be willing to work hard, invest in your new business, sacrifice a lot of your free time, and do whatever is necessary to make sure you will succeed. That means you will have to learn a lot of new things. You will have to study just like you did back in school, but with even bigger stakes. Your business depends on how much you are willing to work, invest, and learn.

Now, if you have decided you are willing to do those things, then you are ready to have your own business. Google Adsense is one way to get started in your own web-based business.

What do I do first? I’m glad you asked. First you will need to choose a product or topic you will be promoting or you can choose several if you plan on having a portfolio of websites. How do you choose a product or topic that will make money with Google Adsense? Again, I’m glad you asked.

There a re tools online that will give you an idea of how much different Google Adwords cost to buy. That in turn gives you an idea of how much those keywords will pay you through Google Adsense. So first, you go to Google Adwords to find out how much it costs to buy specific keywords.

You don’t choose the top paying keywords, though. Why? Because everyone else in the world is doing that and the competition is brutal for the top paying Google Adwords. Choose keywords that are in the medium range. Words you believe will pay you 25-50 cents per click are best in my honest opinion.

Your competition won’t be as stiff and you can still make a nice monthly income at those rates. Remember, 5000 click at 5 cents per click is more than 1000 clicks at 10 cents per click.

The next thing you need to do is take your new list of keywords you are thinking of promoting through Google Adsense and find out how many people are actually searching for those keywords through the search engines. If you go to overture.com, they have a tool that will help you. You type in a keyword and it tells you how many people searched for that keyword on Yahoo last month and how many searches were done for that keyword and other words associated with them.

So, to summarize, you choose several Adwords that you think will pay 25-50 cents per click, then find which of those the most people search for, and then add some value to those keywords that you have a personal interest in promoting.

That last thing is important. The reason is that if you are not interested in the topic or products you will be promoting you will not be as effective. You will lose interest in promoting it because it simply does not interest you.

Once you have chosen your keyword or keywords you will be using, it’s time to put them to work for you and time to make some Google Adsense money. So, what’s next?

You will need a website. This is very important. You do not want a web-based html generated free-hosted website. There are tons of places offering you all this for free. Remember that you get what you pay for.

In any business you wish to start, it takes some investment to do it properly. If you start with nothing at all, you will likely still be in that position a year from now. There is no magic pill or shortcut to success with any business and that includes Google Adsense.

Next you need a domain name. Most people think they need a catchy name like Google and Yahoo, because those companies are successful. Not true. Those companies spent millions of dollars to promote their name. If they had been smarter actually, they would have just registered Search.com.

Your domain name needs to include keywords that are the same or related to the keywords you will be promoting. Remember, with Google Adsense you are not building your company name, you are promoting keyword based contextual advertising and the ads you make money on are based on the words you have in your webpages.

If you have to have hyphens in the domain name to achieve this, then have hyphens in the name. Do not listen to conventional wisdom that tells you that only a dot com domain name and one that has no hyphens is any good. With Google Adsense, that is not the case. A dot net, a dot org, a dot info, or a dot anything else with the right keywords is what you are looking for.

You will need to find a good hosting company for your website. They can be found for $100 per year. If you are offered a cheaper deal than that, it probably is just that, a cheapo deal.

You will need to make sure they have 24-hour support. You want to know if they have an easy admin panel to manage your website with, like cpanel. You want to know if they have install options for things like photo galleries, forums, and blogs. You may not be using those options in the beginning, but you may need that flexibility within that year. Plan ahead.

Once you have your keywords to promote, your domain name, and your hosting, now you need your website. There are several options for this. You can purchase a ready-made Google Adsense website for around $250-$300. Cheaper ones, again, like hosting, are probably too good to be true. You can search Ebay for deals on those or search the web. I recommend affiliatewesitedesign.com.

You can also choose to build it yourself. If you know how to write html then I know you are already going to take that option. It can also be built in FrontPage or Dreamweaver, or some other auto-generator, however, I recommend you have someone who knows html actually fix the mistakes in the code when you are done.

The important thing about your new website is not how it looks! With most websites, a professional looking website is important. If you are selling a product or service that is still true. However, with Google Adsense, you are promoting keywords and need people to click the ads for you to make any money.

If your website is too appealing, they will stay on your website and click around in there burning your bandwidth and making you no money! If your website is very mundane, they will click the ads on the page to leave! You now made money.

Now let me clarify this for you. If you put text into your website that focuses on the keywords you are promoting through Google Adsense, then the right ads for you to make your money are in the page. Not only that, your page will be found in the search engines for searches on those keywords.

Now, when the searcher finds your website and it’s beautiful, they want to look around at how great a website it is. They want to read all your FREE information. They will be there for awhile and may even bookmark you! None of those are good things! They are good IF you are selling a product or service on your website. They are not good things if you are trying to make money with Google Adsense!

Your website does not have to be ugly. But it doesn’t need to look enticing either. You don’t want them to click your links. You want them to click the Google Adsense links because your page is NOT quite what they are looking for. The more they click those links to LEAVE your website, the more money you make.

Experienced Google Adsense people know this and know how to design a website that gets visitors to click the links and leave the page, making you money on the way out.

That is about all I can shock you with for one article, but I hope I have helped you understand what Google Adsense and how to get started successfully.

How to “Show me the Money”

Show me the money Jerry. Unless the internet is simply a hobby for fun chances are you are going through all this reading, researching, buying, chatting, building, in order to make money. So when do I show you the money. Well I’m sorry to say that you are the one who has to show yourself the money. How do I show myself the money you say? Simple, by building quality content that brings traffic and customers. But once you have these customers, you need income streams where they can actually buy from you. If you only have one product that they can buy, well I’m sorry to say that you will be showing me the money but it will just about enough to go to the movies….alone. Be creative; find different ways to make money, even if this means re-inventing the wheel. Actually just off the top of my head here a few additional things that you can have on your site that can generate income: Google adsense, Affiliate Banners, Advertising,

Think about potential income streams that might “fit” with your Site Concept before you commit to writing articles or creating a site name. Basically your attitude in this business has to be, I want to try to make every visitor to my Web site or every reader of my articles contribute to my bottom line so that I’m are not wasting good traffic. The “niche concept site” is a flexible strategy that anyone can create and monetize. Bend it and twist it -- add your own ideas!

Traffic building (and lots of it) comes before Monetization. This is so obvious, but basically, nobody does it. Let me give you a nice piece of advice at this point. Diversification creates a stable online business and puts you in charge. However, multiple income opportunities should not be introduced at the expense of your main business. Expand appropriately.

If you are purely creating an “information” site and do not have a product or service to sell, no problem. You can monetize traffic several ways. For example, grow a list of good merchants with affiliate programs who have product lines that fit. Choose only the best ones and group them according to high-profitability keywords. Or monetize with Google AdSense, the perfect fit for a theme-based content site.
Do not dilute your targeted niche just to expand your base of merchant-partners or to create a wider audience for monetization purpose because that is a direct path to a short Internet Career.

Buying Adsense Websites on ebay

You can get a good deal from purchasing an adsense website on ebay but...
* You should use some caution *

I have seeen the same exact design sold on ebay everyday of the week. You may get 30 or so of these sites (different topics) for about $99. The 30 sites total 6,000 pages.

Similar sites are also sold daily (in multiple quantities) on ebay like "Huge Adsense Empire - 100+ sites 16,500 Pages" Imagine 150 of these sold and posted w/out change. 2,475,000 duplicate pages on the web.

Just look at the site for sell then check the sellers feedback from "buyers" - most are private listings. You will see that they may sell 1 to 3 per day!

Many new buyers purchase these and are unfamiliar with editing or adding content to a php site and get frustrated.

Now, there are some excellent sellers - sites and good deals to be found on ebay but you need to take a good look at the site and the number sold.

Also be sure the articles include the author’s resource box with a live link. Many sites chop off the end of some of the articles or do not display the authors "clickable" link (a no no).

Check the "page title" at the top of your browser. A page titled "New Page" or "Untitled" is not a good sign.

Look at the source code by right clicking your mouse and choosing view source to see if there are any meta tags or keywords in the page header.

Don't confuse most of the "ebay mill" sites with sites you may see for sell that have limited numbers like 25 - are made with private or original articles & have support forums or excellent instructions.

These are Great for new users who need help and they provide a way to learn about the site.

The ebay mill sites typically are not in the same league.

Some of the better sites that are sold on ebay are in limited numbers and include an admin panel where you can easily add your own links - and your own content before and after each article page - giving you some uniqueness. Look for these even if they cost a little bit more

Not all ebay sites are an unwise purchase - I was a power seller a few years ago & sold websites - you can find a good deal and a good site.

Just do your research. With adsense the number two search term on ebay pulse under websites for sale, sellers have really jumped on the popularity of these sites.

5 Profitable No SEO Needed Adsense Techniques

1. Find a topic you can create a two part article on. Write part one of your article and place it on a page on your website. Place Google Adsense ads next to your article. Next you will want to create part two of your article and make sure to make reference to your first article in your second article. Take part two of your article and submit it to ezine publishers, and article directories.

Using this technique, part two of your article will drive traffic to part one of your article. In this way you will profit when someone clicks on your Google Adsense ads when visiting the web page that you have part one of your article on.

2. Create a site that is related to your market that has nothing on it but good quality content about a popular topic in your market. Make sure that you place Google Adsense ads on the site also. You'll then offer ezine publishers and ad on one of the pages of your site if they'll mention your site to their subscribers. Make sure they know they'll benefit by other ezines publishers sending traffic to your site. Their subscribers will be exposed to those ads also. You'll profit from the earnings you earn by people clicking on your Google Adsense ads.

This technique is profitable for everyone involved. I haven't seen anyone using it so be a pioneer and watch this technique explode your Google Adsense income!

3. Find a profitable topic and create a 5-10 website about the topic. Make sure to place Google Adsense ads on your website along with the content. Next you will want to create a mini-ebook or report about the topic, and include affiliate links for products and services related to your topic. Take your mini-ebook or report and give it to website owners and ezine publishers who can reach your target market. Allow them to brand the affiliate links in your mini-ebook or report with their own affiliate links. Within your mini-ebook or report, you'll want to make many references to the website you created for this topic that have your Google Adsense ads on it. Whoever passes this mini-ebook or report around will be driving traffic to your site, and you'll profit from those that click on your Google Adsense ads.

This technique uses viral marketing which in my opinion is one of the most powerful marketing techniques around. You can get some added exposure by submitting your ebook to ebook directories. Do a search to find ebook directories.

4. Take a couple of articles that you have written, and upload them to your website. Make sure to place your Google Adsense code next to your article. Now take the URL of your articles and place the URL in your signature line in your email or forum signature line.

With this one easy technique, I've made up to $46 a day for spending a few minutes putting the URLs into my signature line.

5. Create a mini ecourse on a topic that you know about or do research on a popular topic and create a mini course for it. Take each day of your course and place it on it's own website. Day one will have it's own page. Day two will have it's own page, and so on. Make sure you place Google Adsense ads on each of these pages also.

When people sign up for your ecourse instead of emailing them the content, send them to the website address where the content is. The key to this is putting your Google Adsense ads before the content.

By using this technique you are not only building a subscriber list, but you'll also profit from people who click on your Google Adsense ads when visiting to read your ecourse.

In the future I will be writing more articles on how to profit with Google Adsense without having to use any SEO techniques. By using the techniques above, you are working smarter and not harder, and that's really the key to making money with Google Adsense.

$1 Million in Google AdSense Earnings

They are calling him the million dollar man. Jason Calacanis recently revealed in his blog that he is on track to earn a million dollars from AdSense over the year ahead.

And if that number doesn’t wake you up and have you sitting on the edge of your seat, consider for a moment that he reached this level in less than a year. His company only started using AdSense in September 2004.

Calacanis runs Weblogs Inc., a network dedicated to creating trade weblogs across niche industries. And he’s quickly proven that AdSense is a credible advertising partner.

As their network has grown, so has their AdSense revenue. In January 2005 they earned an average of $580 per day. In March it was $737. In May it was $1,585. One day in July, just before he made the blog entry referred to above, they earned $2,335. Remember that is just for one day. If they can take that daily average to $2,740 they’ll be earning a rate of $1 million for a year. And Calacanis predicts that reaching daily earnings of $3,000 or even $5,000 is quite achievable.

That’s quite an achievement. Keep in mind that Calacanis has 103 bloggers on the payroll and nine staffers. Even so, many webmasters would give an arm or a leg to have even a third of that.

Google’s AdSense has been revolutionary. It has become firmly established as the darling of the online advertising industry. Although rumors are heard of major competitors launching a similar service, AdSense’s premier position seems secure for now.

In essence, AdSense has made it possible for almost anyone with a web site or blog to earn some revenue from advertising, without having to employ sales people or spend precious time searching for advertisers.

AdSense works like this. Webmasters sign up for an account in just a few minutes. They receive a small snippet of code to include on their web pages. Google will then automatically serve advertisements that are relevant to the content on the webmaster's pages. When someone visits the webmaster's site and clicks on one of Google's AdSense advertisements, the webmaster earns a fee. Advertisers can pay anywhere from five cents to a hundred dollars per click, and the webmaster receives a percentage of that fee.

Many webmasters are content with earning five to ten dollars from AdSense to cover the cost of web hosting. But many, unsurprising, have higher ambitions. At a popular WebmasterWorld forum, participants share tips and encouragement on reaching a goal of $300 per day from AdSense. So it is no wonder that Calacanis created quite a buzz when he made his million dollar blog entry.

Google have proven once again that they excel at designing innovative Internet services. If you are in the web industry and have not yet used AdSense, then perhaps you should try it out. Or if you are already using it, perhaps Calacanis’ impressive results will encourage you to track the performance of your AdSense units more closely, fine tune their positions and formats, and take your earnings to a new level.

Can You Make More Money Through Google Adsense?

Tired of seeing clicks that are paying your $0.10? There is something you can do about it.

Tired of seeing clicks that are paying your $0.05? There is something you can do about it.

The biggest outcry for pretty well all adsense publishers is most often about low paying click values. If you're wondering why Google is only paying you $0.05 a click, you should not need to look much further than the content on your web page. Remember, your revenue is a part of the amount advertisers are willing to pay for respective keywords. The money they are willing to pay is based strictly on the amount they feel confident to earn from the sale of their product. For example, topics such as prom dresses, are more likely to receive $0.05 clicks than for a topic like life insurance. The reason is simple: the price of the products associated with those keywords dictate the amount advertisers will pay. The profits on car insurance can range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month, depending on the agreement. One sale could bring the firm several tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the agreement. How much profit is in prom dresses?

Another tip to consider is that if you focus on keywords that involve the terms "cheap", "free", or "inexpensive" products, its highly unlikely the ads that appear will furnish you with the best paying ads. Remember, if the advertiser is selling an itemrespective that is "cheap", "free", or "inexpensive" its unlikely they are bidding very highly on their keywords. So, what options are left for you?

While I will touch on how the layout of your site can impact your adsense revenue, lets look at your content - namely what we will call your money pages. So what exactly are your money pages?

In the easiest of terms, your money pages are those where you believe your hopes for higher paying ads are greatly improved over other pages. So while you may focus your traffic generating strategy on long tail keywords for example, its your money pages where you aim to either make a sale, or, get the visitor to click on an ad. What topics are related to your main topic that target higher paying products? A bit of research and you can easily find products that an advertiser will pay more for.

If your site is on cooking, what products do you use to cook with? Is there some type of gizmo you use to help prepare your food? Cutlery, bakeware and cookware all payout larger amounts than items found in a recipe for cheesecake.

What if your site is about newborn babies? Every mom and dad wants to make sure that they are providing the proper care for their new additions. How they made sure their financial plan has been adjusted to provide insurance coverage for the family? What about college savings? Retirement funds? What about clothes?

If your site is on wedding favors, look into a couple of articles covering higher end wedding favors. While most wedding favor sites cover the topic of shoddy wedding favors, what about the demographic who isnt concerned about the cost of their wedding? Is there not a certain type of wedding favor for the higher end of income earners that you could speak to? While the number of clicks may be lower, their payout will more than make up for it.

Think about the advertisers when thinking about your money pages. Is there an item that they sell for a higher dollar value that your visitors may be interested in?

If you are getting only $0.05 a click, more most often than not, its your content.

Google Adsense - How To Start Making Money

You can start making extra money on your web site by using Google Adsense and a few simple techniques to boost you ad click through rate.

Google Adsense is a dominating force in the internet marketing arena and is considered one of the best the ways to make extra money online.

Earning money with with Google Adsense can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the results you will get in a very short period of time.

How Should You Maximize Your Web Site Earnings?

Google Adsense will enable you to easily monetize any of you web sites simply by building web pages that contain google ads. It is without a doubt one of the best money making tools you as a marketer can have on your web site. Google Adsense will allow you to cash in on the incredible advertising profits it generates.

Google Adsense ads can generate considerable income for you. Be sure to properly tune your web site so that you can maximize your income by squeezing every possible penny out of the Adsense ads you display. You don't want to leave any money on the table.

There are some things you must first consider before you begin writing your articles and producing effective Google Adsense campaigns.

Keyword Research.

First you will need to research and find popular subjects, keywords and phrases to write your articles around. Select those keywords which your research has determine to be most profitable. There are a number of web sites that have keyword selector and suggestion tools that can greatly help you in this process.

Writing Your Articles.

Start the process by writing quality content articles to build your Adsense campaign around. These articles should include keywords you selected during your keyword research. If you are one of those people who have the gift of writing short articles you can benefit greatly. Why not let your writing skills work in such a way that it will earn you extra cash in the process.

The search engines love new content that quality written articles provide. Once written, add these articles to your web site and also submit them to the many article directories found on the internet. This will help to bring traffic to your website.

Build Your Quality Content Site.

Build your quality content site incorporating Google Adsense ads that target the subject area of the keywords placed in your articles. This is where all the research you initially performed will prove to be worth while. Finding and exploiting niche marketing areas with Adsense can prove to be very profitable.

Position And Color Of Your Adsense Ads

Next, proper positioning of your Adsense ads must be performed with much care. Try to position ads where web site visitors are most likely to click them. According to many who have researched ad placement, the one place that surfers usually look first when they visit a web site is the top left. I personally don't know reason behind this but I can tell you that it does work. Also the color of your ads can make a great difference. Make sure that the color of the ads fit into you web page color scheme so that they don't appear to be blatant advertisement. It has been shown that when the ad appears to be part of the article it will be clicked more often.

Tracking Your Ads

Finally, Adsense has some very good tools for tracking statistics that can help you improve your click through results. You should be aware of this capability and make the most of it. Tracking your results is an extremely powerful tool that will allow you to determine which ads are performing and which are not. The statistics you get will allow you to fine tune your Adsense ads and focus more on the ones being clicked on so that you can repeat what works and drop what does not.

To really start making money with Adsense, start focusing on the goals you ultimately want to achieve and how you want to go about achieving them. As with any other business venture, time and a little patience are needed to see results.

Don't ignore your Adsense web site once you have finished building it. Take a little time to make needed adjustments to the Adsense ads on your site so that you can more quickly trigger income from your efforts.

Give Adsense a try and I am certain you will never regret your decision.

3 Things You Should Never Do with Your AdSense Account

Discover the important things that you should be aware about your AdSense account

Starting as a new AdSense publisher would not be easy, there are lots of things you should be aware of, here are three most important things that you should never do with your AdSense account:

1. Signing to AdSense without fully understanding Google AdSense's Terms Of Services agreement

Unlike many other agreements you sign while browsing the Internet, you simply have no other option but to read and understand AdSense's Terms of Service or risk receiving a ban. As it usually happens after a few months, you risk losing hundreds of hours of your work (as well as thousands of dollars paid for promotion and SEO) simply because you haven't read the agreement carefully enough.

Why is that? The common myth is that every webpage can display AdSense ads. That's not true. First, there are several categories of websites that Google forbids to take part in the AdSense program. Some of the categories are obvious - racist websites, those promoting illicit drugs or pirate software - but some are not. For example those advertising beer or hard alcohol-based products are also prohibited, so forget about opening an AdSense site about Russian vodka.

Another thing is that the AdSense's Terms of Service describes several specific activities you must not perform on your website if you are to avoid banning. Among others they include such things as excessive use of keywords, lack or minimal content on your site or adding misleading labels of Google ads. For example Google may ban you even for using "Click the ads" phrase!

The bottom line: Without learning what is and what isn't a viable AdSense website, you can't really start your business. Terms of Service agreement sets strict boundaries you have to keep yourself within in order to do business with Google. If you have any doubts about the rules, contact Google and ask them what they think about your problems. You keep to their rules AS THEY UNDERSTAND THEM or you're out of business within hours.

2. Asking your friends or relatives to click on your ads

Surprisingly there are still many people who think that they can make money on AdSense by asking their friends or relatives to click on their ads. This scheme is both ineffective and very short-sighted, but nevertheless there are people who think they can do business this way.

The problem is that no one can become a successful AdSense businessman by using this method to create the artificial clicks. First, there are practical reasons: in order to make this scheme work, you must have at least two thousand clicks a month. What is more, they must come from different computers and different people! There is no way you can do that - getting thousands of people to click on your ads in any other way than by creating a decent website and/or a SEO campaign is simply not cost-effective.

Then, as such practices are expressly forbidden by Google, asking anyone to click on your ads increases the risk of banning you from AdSense. If the system detects multiple clicks from a single source, it raises the alarm and this usually ends in banning the website in question. Even if you ask your friends are relatives to use different computers or IP numbers, it is next to impossible that everyone will remember about it all the time. And you would need A LOT of people to make it worth more than an additional dollar or two a month (see above).

In short, any using method of creating artificial clicks - ie. those made by anyone but people who visited your website and were really interested in the ads - is pointless. It won't pay off and sooner or later will bring you a ban.

3. Clicking on your own ads

Never click on your own ads. Never! This rule seems to be obvious, but surprisingly this is one of the most common mistakes done by the beginning AdSense website owners. Clicking on the ads you have on your own site is the quickest way to get irreversibly banned from AdSense - sometimes even a single click is enough to alert the system. What's worse, you will have nothing for you defense - clicking on one's own ads is expressly forbidden by the AdSense's Terms of Service.

At times, clicking on your own ads may be tempting - but this is both immoral and ineffective. In short, it is not worth your time but may get you deeeeep in trouble.

How to Make Money with Google Adsense in 2007

Making money online is now possible through Google's Adsense program, and many work at home moms, dads, students and grandparents are opening their own Adsense websites.
Google Adsense is currently the top contextual pay per click advertising program available online. Making money online has never been easier - Adsense delivers all the features web masters and publishers were looking for and it does it almost flawlessly. Google offers, through the innovative Adsense script, a chance for any website owner, or online publisher, to earn cash from their already existing business. The popularity that characterizes this program is well deserved, and many web masters never even consider alternative programs that serve contextual ads, such as the Yahoo Publisher Network or Chitika.

Google's financial success and excellent stock market results are mostly so because Adsense is the most important jewel on the Google crown. Each click that you receive money for also sends a percentage of profit into Google's vault. Although that profit margin is not disclosed, most advertisers and publishers seem happy with the current rates. Anyway, the question here is not how much money Google makes of its Adsense program, but how much cash can you earn online by using it. In the following article we will look at how Google Adsense works, what financial possibilities and profits it offers and we will also look at some useful Google Adsense tips that will help you maximize your online profits.

How does Google Adsense work?

As Google claims, Adsense is designed to maximize your website revenue, show your users ads they'll be interested in, tap into a network of thousands of search advertisers and start serving Google ads in just minutes. There's no point in explaining the complex mechanisms that stand behind the Adsense script and it would probably take dozens of pages to write a guide that will give you an idea how Google manages to organize millions of advertiser-publisher connections.

When you join Google's Adsense program you will need to submit a website. Once the website is approved, you will receive access to your control panel. Here you can add channels to track your ad performance, modify ad size and colors and get the HTML code to insert in your site. Simply select the best ad size and color combination and paste the code into a designated location on your site and you're in business. In most cases the Adsense contextual links are available immediately, but sometimes it will take a wile until they are updated. From this moment on, you are on your way to making money online.

How much money can I make using Adsense?

There are Adsene publishers that make a few cents a day. But there are also Adsense publishers that make thousands of dollars a day using this program. Nothing and no one can guarantee your success, however, if you follow a few simple rules, there's no way to fail. Serving Google Ads on a website as a great way to monetize it. Now, getting back to how much money you can win online with Adsense! if you own a high traffic website - say a few thousands visitors a day - you may expect profits of tens or hundreds a dollars a day. There are many factors involved in determining how much you will earn.

The click through rate (CTR) for example, is an essential element - it measures how many visitors, out of the total number your site receives, click on the Adsense targeted ads. The higher the CTR, the more money you earn - please see the Adsense tips listed below if you wish to learn how to increase CTR numbers. Different advertisers pay different amounts of money for a click. While some will only pay five cents per click, there are advertisers that may pay $10, $20 or even more for a single click! The content of your website is the one that influences this the most - a site about paper clips, for example, will definitely pay less than a site on mortgages or credit card companies.

Google Adsense tips

When serving Adsense contextual ads, you can use different ethical search engine optimization and page structure and content tips to maximize your revenue. Here are some of the most appreciated Google Adsense tips:

* Focus on getting highly targeted visitors on your site - they will increase CTR and make you more money.

* Although Google Adsense is fully automated, you can filter advertiser messages and only keep those that are most relevant to your web content.

* Out of all the Google Adsense tips, this is probably the most appreciated - focus on one keyword or keyphrase per page and get incoming links towards it, using the keyword in the link root.

* Keeping a web page focused on a single aspect of a larger topic (say you have a website on dog training - you should aim one page at only one dog breed, and so on).

Earning Money with Adsense: Getting Started

For the beginner, startign with Adsense is not always clear. Here is a quick guide to getting started.

Can I Really Earn Money With Articles and Adsense

The question regarding making money using articles and adsense has been asked many times. The doubters will tell you that it's not possible. If that were true, there would not be so many people making their living writing articles for their Adsense sites.

In order to make money with Adsense, you need to find a profitable niche. When you are just starting out, you should pick a niche that you have some interest in. By doing this you will be more interested and it will not be quite as challenging for you to write your articles. If you are interested in gardening, you could write articles about different plants, soil conditions, watering, the best planting times or even about those pesky insects that invade your garden. The possibilities are limitless. When you become more comfortable writing articles and have your site profiting for you, you might then try a niche that is new to you. Go to the search engines and do a search for whatever niche you want to try and research that topic. You might find that you have more of an interest in that topic than you thought.

When writing your articles, be precise, be informative, and by all means, don't tell them the same thing that everyone else is telling them. Make your articles new and interesting. Give them unique content. Don't write one or two articles and think that will be enough. You need to keep writing, keeping your site full of fresh content. Don't forget to put your name and website address at the end of your article in the resource box. As you write articles that are interesting, other website may pick up your article and publish it on their site or in their newsletter, thereby driving additional traffic to your site.

By keeping your content fresh and informative, the search engines will spider your site more often. The search engines love new and unique content. They will make numerous trips to your site if you keep adding to it. The more often they visit, the higher in the ratings you can go.

You need to also submit your articles to the article directories. Each article directory has its own submission guidelines so before you submit be sure to check their guidelines out. Make sure your resource box is included with the article when you submit it. Without this resource box, readers will not know who wrote the article or how to get more information from your site. These visitors will also help increase your search engine ratings.

When you sign up for Google's Adsense program, they will place Adsense ads on your site that are directly related to the topic that you are writing about. Google does this work for you. When a visitor clicks on one of the ads, you are paid for that click. The amount you are paid depends on what the advertiser is paying for that ad and only Google knows that. The more traffic that comes to your site, and the higher your click through rate (CTR) is, the more money you can make.

It's not as hard as it may appear. The hardest part is getting started and keeping the momentum going. Don't give up. It can take several weeks for your site to get traffic. The most important thing though is to keep the articles going to your site. If you want, you can also ad articles written by others, just be sure to include their resource box.

Fast Track To Making Money with Adsense

Learn the techniques the experts are using to make 5 figure incomes per month with Adsense.

The correct styling and positioning of your ads are crucial for better click throughs and higher payouts.

They're now almost universally blocked subconciouHarry Potter !sly by Net users as advertising. Stick to text ads only. Be sure this is set in your account.

5 Tips to Improve Your Adsense Targeting

As an Adsense publisher, I am often annoyed to find my web pages filled with public service announcements (PSA) and ads unrelated to the content of my site. Here are some tips to help you optimize your pages to make them more Adsense-friendly.
